CAReady (referred to as "we", "us", or "our") is an online CA test series platform operated from India. Our registered email for privacy matters is privacy@caready.in.
2. Information We Collect
a) Information you provide directly:
- Name and email address when you register
- Mobile number (optional, for OTP verification)
- CA exam level you are preparing for
- Payment information (processed securely by our payment gateway — we do not store card details)
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- IP address and approximate location (city/state level)
- Pages visited, features used, and time spent on the platform
- Test attempt data: scores, answers submitted, time taken per question
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To provide access to test series, analytics, and rankings
- To generate your All India Rank (AIR) by comparing anonymised results
- To send important account and service emails (e.g. purchase confirmation, exam reminders)
- To send promotional emails — you can opt out at any time
- To improve our question bank, platform performance, and user experience
- To prevent fraud and ensure platform security
4. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Payment processors (e.g. Razorpay) to complete transactions
- Email service providers to deliver transactional and marketing emails
- Analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) in anonymised/aggregated form
- Legal authorities if required by law or court order
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Test attempt data is retained for the duration of your subscription validity. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. payment records for 7 years as per Indian tax law).

We use industry-standard security measures including TLS/SSL encryption, hashed passwords, and restricted internal access to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, but we continuously review our practices.
9. Children's Privacy
CAReady is intended for students aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has registered, contact us and we will delete the account.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email for material changes. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
